Winner of the 'best kept village
hall' in the Broxtowe Borough Council area, 2009.
The
Parish Hall is situated on Stapleford Road, between the Church and
the railway bridge. It is maintained and run by the Parish Council
for the benefit of the residents of Trowell.
The hall
has capacity for 240 persons. Adequate parking is provided on the
adjacent car park.
Disabled
facilities include a toilet, access ramp, and loop systems in parts
of the building.
There
is a public address system, and the hall is licensed for music &
dancing. Bar facilities are available, but a license must be
applied for.
Other
facilities include a stage, dressing room, kitchen & meeting rooms.
The
Parish Hall is used by a variety of groups from within the village,
