Trowell Parish Hall is managed and maintained by the Parish Council for the use of the community and other interested parties.   For detailed information, and booking instructions, please contact the parish council Clerk.

Hanging Basket

The Parish Council provides hanging baskets on various lamp posts throughout the village, and also village name board planters, during the summer months.

The Pit Lane recreation ground is available for games of soccer.  

 HIRING CHARGES for 2004/2005 season are:

£13.50 per Game.

Trowell Parish Hall Noticeboard

Notice boards, six in all, are placed at strategic points throughout the village.  Notice of forthcoming meetings and agendas are placed on the boards, along with other items of interest to the community.

Trowell Local Nature Resrve, the Nottingham Canal

The route of the old Nottingham Canal through Trowell is now a Local Nature Reserve, which runs from the border with Stapleford, to that with Cossall.  A delightful walk in any season.

The Christmas lights have now become an established part of the village Christmas scene. Additional sites have been provided over the years, with the possibility of more being provided in the future.
