Steve Hallam
Steve is the current
Chair of Trowell parish council.
Steve is currently employed by Nottingham city Council working within
the Environmental Health Department. Steve has lived in the village
for the last 3 years and has interests in all village life, with special
interests in Emergency Procedures, Law and order and Environmental
issues. Steve is an ex-officio member of all committees.
He is also a member
of the Emergency Committee.

Councillor
Keith Birkitt
A retired sales,
and sales training manager, Keith has resided in Trowell since 1988.
Keith is the current Vice Chair of the Council.
Keith also represents
the Parish Council on the Borough Council Crime & Disorder partnership.
He is also one of two Parish Councillors representing the Parish
on the Stanton & Ilkeston football club liaison committee.
He is particularly
interested in the flooding issues regarding the Erewash river and
the Boundary brook. He is also interested in the provision of
more sport and leisure facilities for the youth of Trowell.

Margaret Birkitt
A retired
civil servant, Margaret has lived in the village with
her husband Keith since 1988.
She has been involved as a volunteer
at the Albany Junior School as a classroom helper.
All Councillors sit on every
committee until their term of office expires in 2007.
Her interests include environmental
issues.

Julie Bryant
All Councillors sit on every
committee until their term of office expires in 2007. Julie
also represents the Parish Council on the Castle Environmental liaison
committee.
Julie has worked for the NHS for
nearly 25 years and is currently employed by Nottinghamshire Primary
Care Trust in the Health Improvement Directorate. Therefore, she has
a particular interest in the health of the local population.
Julie
has a strong interest in history and enjoys visiting ancient and historical
sites both in the UK and abroad when on holiday. With John, she enjoys
travelling and visiting different countries whenever finances allow.

John Bryant
John is currently employed
as a part-time Security Officer for Bell-Fruit Games.
He took early retirement from British Telecom as a Senior Technician
after 27 years of service.
He has a lifelong interest in Railways and has a passion to see Trowell
Station reinstated as soon as possible to bring Trowell back onto
the national railway map.
His other interests are Music (especially Blues) and visiting Commonwealth
war graves around the world to pay his respects.

Emergency Committee.

Pam Cardwell
Pam has had had close links
with the Parish for the past ten years. She has resided in the
Parish since April 2003.
As far as Trowell is concerned she is keen
to see the village keep its status and individuality, whilst at the
same time ensuring the village is kept up to date.

Councillor
Lyn Harley
Lyn is a Registered childminder who has lived in the village since
April 1994.
She is married with three children, the two eldest have now left home.
She has two grandchildren, and two lively dogs. In the past she has
been actively involved with the local school, being its 'Friends of
Trowell' chairperson during the years 1999 to 2001.
She is currently a member of
the Boundary Brook Action Committee.
She is interested in all aspects
of Village life especially young people, environmental issues and
safe travel within the village.
